Prom season's coming up, so I've been selling corsages and boutonnieres. I actually have a few orders lined up already, which is a few more than I was expecting
So I'm trying to become more business-like in advertising, even though I'm really only serving local orders. The farthest one I have so far is something like 40 minutes away. I've opened up a group on Facebook (even though it should really be a page instead) and am hoping to expand my audience from my friends to their friends and relatives that are either still in high school or going back for prom. Of course, I want to be more active and make for more than prom, but high-schoolers are still my target demographic. I'm very glad that I'm better at making corsages than making jewelry, because then nobody would buy anything.
Examples of my work? Here:
This is actually my cover photo on facebook. That empty space on the left bothers me immensely, but it is necessary for the profile picture.

Hey Erryone!
So Alyxsandre has some great animations, and better yet, they're raffling off a custom animation for free! Check out their raffle here:
And if you really like their work and don't want to chance a slot? Well, you can always commission them. Support your fellow artists!
Come on, that work is quality. If you can't commission, how about a signal boost instead?
Happy new year!
And so we've made it into 2015. If 2014 was great for you, I hope this year will be just as good. If last year sucked, then I hope this one'll be better.
Any resolutions? Mine this year is to learn to make flower crowns. I could sell them independently and/or offer them in a bundle with my corsages and boutonnieres this year. I mean yeah, they'll probably drive up costs a little bit, but I was going to raise prices a bit (because college) anyway, and a surprising amount of people have been asking if I could make them.
So how are all of you?
Say hey, continue the chain

Spanish-speaking deviantArtists, I need some help!
I recently found out that someone on Youtube has stolen one of my videos (the only video I've posted, in fact) so I went to check out his channel, and it doesn't look like he speaks English, and my Spanish is awful. I can read and understand, but not write or speak well. Can somebody translate the following for me? I don't want to use Google translate because it's often inaccurate.
You stole this video from me. Remove it or I will report you.
The original message was going to be a lot longer, but then I cut it down to the main message

Those are amazing. I agree, those corsages should be servicing beyond proms.
